Post by Emma:
So on today’s Travel Adventure we visited the local McDonalds. The aim to buy something that isn’t sold in the U.K. There were the usual burgers, Big Mac, Chicken, Saver Menu etc. But also some rice and pasta varieties and a large selection of iced drinks. Desserts were only a slight change on the usual so a caramel or chocolate sundae used hot sauce instead (in a hot country, I’m not sure why you’d want this) and McFlurry was a Kit Kat or Green Tea Kit Kat.

Not wanting the usual burger or nuggets and having tastier chicken and rice elsewhere in the country, we both went for the McSpaghetti meal which comes with a fried chicken drumstick and gravy, spaghetti and tomato sauce with Cheese and a drink.

For the drinks, I went for the Coke McFloat -coke, ice cream and chocolate sauce. Vic went for the iced tea.

The verdict:
Quality:
???
My Coke float was amazing, but the pasta was simple and plain and you just wanted the chicken to have the slightest taste of the colonels secret recipe, but it didn’t.
Quantity:
???
Like any McMeal it wasn’t very filling, we should have topped up with nuggets too.
Price:
?????
It cost about £4 in total.
Final Word:
McDonalds is a universal language and is always good enough.
